What is Sara Ivy?
Sara Ivy, first published in July 2012, was the product of boredom of a girl working and living in Tampa Florida. Needing an outlet of creativity and self expression, one turned to the internet to explore the media of remedial graphic design, photography, fashion and beauty.

Meet The Author
I'm Sara. I'm a 25 year old, Cosmetology student currently residing in Los Angeles, California. I enjoy the little things in life like double rainbows, small children's laughter and finding money in my bra. I also enjoy my sense of humor, making ridiculous faces, changing the words to songs and singing them horrible off key.

I also enjoy fashion. I like to shop. I like going to thrift-ing and garage sale-ing. I also enjoy the stores H&M, Forever 21, TJ Maxx, Marshals, ModCloth, Urban OG, Lulu's and I definitely spend too much time on Etsy. I don't consider myself a fashionista or claim to have any type of style that is note worthy I just happen to have an avid interest in clothes, shoes and handbags. Shoes and handbags are my weakness. Some of my favorite labels are Betsey Johnson, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Chanel and L.A.M.B.
Music is another passion of mine. I am a big rock girl. My first concert was March 23rd, 2003 where I saw Less Thank Jake and Hot Rod Circuit open up for Good Charlotte and New Found Glory on the Honda Civic Tour at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland Maine. I was 14 at the time and since then I have been to so many shows I can't count. I have managed some local bands, including a few of my now ex-boyfriends acts, done merch, interned at a media company where I was able to meet, interview and photograph some of my favorite bands. Speaking of favorite bands, mine would be Good Charlotte. I can't count how many times I have seen or met those boys but they are one of the main reasons I enjoy music so much. I have to respect and admire the musicians behind the music and those five boys are at the very top of my list and will always be special and dear to me.

I enjoy reading and writing. I worked in book stores for over 6 years and when I first graduated high school I had set out to be a writer. I've written countless poems, short stories and non-fiction pieces. I have 3 self-published books and continue to write behind the scenes to this day. I actually got my passion for writing from loving music so much. I discovered I didn't really have the talent to make it as a singer but I did have the writing potential.

Another thing I discovered I had a passion for thanks to music was photography. I will most certainly post my photography in here as well as, in my online photojournal.
