Knit Jacket from Wet Seal, $30 | Striped jacket from Pilot Fashion, $31| Red Boyfriend Blazer from Charlotte Russe, $40
So there are a few different types of blazers on here and I am give my suggest for how to wear each one!
- Any blazer with a funky print is great. It can help add in a mix of color if you are wearing all one color.
- A splash of color is great and this jacket mixes three very hot trends right now; ombre, neons and BLAZERS.
- Roll up your sleeves! Blazers do not have to be all suit dress and business meetings. Pair the mustard yellow with jeans and a white tank top, a chunky necklace and your choice of flats or heels and you are ready for a night on the town.
- Wear your blazer like it is a cardigan. I love the details on this one. It's classic black and white so if you are not feeling like a splash of color this will do perfect.
- A stripped blazer will do the same thing that a floral or print blazer will do but certain people can't pull off vertical stripes. If you can, lucky you. However, that's not why I like this blazer. I like it for the lapels. Look at the beautiful frilly design. That will easily draw attention and set it apart from the rest of your look.
- Lastly, a little red never hurt anyone. I love how bright the red is against the rest of the outfit. You don't have to wear cobalt or canary yellow for an added touch of color. Red will do just fine.
That's it for this week's Wednesday Want List, next week is going to be a special edition WWL so be sure to check back for that. After that I'm thinking Ombre or Back to School. Maybe things around the house instead of fashion. What do you think?
What would you like to see here?
I love blazers. I have a black and a tan one and I would love to incorporate some more into my wardrobe. And I think you should do a back to school post since many of us will be going back to school soon!
