Epiphanie Camera Bag: DO WANT

So if you follow me on any kind of social media then you know how hard I have been trying to win one of these Epiphanie Camera bags. I abso-freakin-loutely love these bags. Top of the "DO WANT" list. Especially because shooting for Buzznet.com I get to go to a lot of concerts and there are things I need with me but I never like to take in a purse because its too much with my camera bag and my camera bag is big and bulky already. Why add a purse onto that? Plus I'm trying to move around other photographers usually and then once my three songs are done I'm off to the side in the crowd and things get squished. And crowded, because it's a crowd, duh.

My current camera bag:

There is enough room for my camera and that's about it. No room for cellphone and barely any room to stash my extra memory cards and business cards because even though I have my nifty t-shirt and my confirmation e-mail somehow the tour manager always forgets to put us on there so I'm hassling busy people to get my press pass. Shooting shows is a lot of work people, it's not all glitz and glamour and you really don't get to enjoy the bands too much.

Shows I've shot for Buzznet:

A Day To Remember at Rockin Roots.
David and Kyle from Breathe Carolina were the absolute sweetest guys. My friend wanted a picture on a day they weren't playing on Rockin Roots and Kyle asked for my business card and everything. They also remembered me the next time there were in town. Really great guys.
This festival was a mess and the worst thing I've ever had to endure as a photographer. Two days where bands I needed to cover were on 6 different stages at the same time and the security was not accommodating at all. It made my job worse when they wouldn't let me go in the photo pit even though I had a BAND wristband, not a photo pass but a band pass which meant backstage area too. But I got more hits for my albums of ADTR and Breathe Carolina than anything else on Buzznet that week. EPIC.
That awkward moment when you realize being short kind of limits your view as a photographer. Maybe the girl with the milk crate had a bright idea and I misjudged her?
This Century at Anaheim House of Blues

Jonathan from Forever The Sickest Kids mic stand - Epic and it was eye level.

Shooting Dev (total fucking doll btw) at the Roxy. I hate shooting shows at The Roxy. No photo pit.

But it would be nice once my camera is fixed to have this awesome bag I can tote around that is both fashion forward and easy to maneuver with. For example, the stage at Rockin Roots was as tall as I was and I had to lean backwards 90% of the time and the night time shots I used my big flash for and with my battery grip on the whole thing weighed a ton and it was just awful. At one point I handed my bag to my friend and just kept my phone, extra memory cards and spare battery in my jeans pockets because I couldn't handle everything.

A good quality camera bag is just as important as a good set up, camera or lens. It is apart of your gear and might be the most important thing you own besides your camera. After all it protects your camera just like insurance protects your car or home. Epiphanie makes stunning bags and they are always having a giveaway so maybe, someday I will get my turn and own one. It's definitely on my wishlist, DO WANT list and Christmas list. Check out the giveaway and Epiphanie bags.

Photographers, who makes your camera bag? Do you even use one?
